This is a great jacket/sweater! I have an elderly dog turning 16 soon who is dealing with some chronic issues. Despite being in Florida she has been getting chilly in the mornings. She would start to shake after her morning walk and I would cover her in blankets after she got back in bed. Since I did not own any sweaters for her, I went on Amazon and looked for ones that would be easy to take on and off. This one turned out to be perfect. You only need to put this over their head and then velcro the sides. This sweater doesn’t seem to bother her and it keeps her warm. I would recommend; as a matter of fact, I am thinking of getting a second one to have on hand for her. She is 13 lbs and I bought a small (I measured her back to get the right size). I also think she looks great in it, though I recognize I am biased as her owner.

A nice, cozy, easy-to-put on dog fleece. Washes well, though the doghair does not come off the velcro easily. But the velcro is what makes it so easy to put on the dog! My main reservations are these: 1) It is a little too short for my somewhat long-bodied dogs, both of which have dachshund. If my climate required more neck coverage, this wouldn’t do the trick on my dogs–one of them in particular. 2) The neck has an elastic that would ordinarily make it possible to make the fit looser or tighter, but the little grommet or eyelet cover fell off on one of the two that I purchased, and there is no way to adjust the elastic. But since the neck isn’t really long enough for my dogs, it doesn’t really matter. At any rate, it works well enough for the relatively short winters in my neck of the woods.
