This feeder is probably the easiest set up of my long history of cat feeders. My cat had no problem eating from it and she is incredibly picky. The only problem is it delivers WAY too much food. I have her on 2/12 (or some people might call 1/6th) of a cup twice a day and it is overflowing. Way more than my last feeder. I may have to drop to one feeding a day. It’ll work, but disappointed my cat will be overfed.

I have no real cons about this feeder but ive only had it for half a day so ill have to update after a couple weeks but for now let’s go through the good thing. The only bad thing I experienced is that the cord is a little hard to put in the back so I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t turning on and it turned out that I just needed to jam the cord further in.Pros:*easy set up – just plug in and download the app, with simple instructions.*has a slot for fresh pack so the food stays fresh*holds about 6.5 pounds of small cat kibble* has a lock on the lid so the cats can’t open it/ also has a lock on the touch pad so the cats can’t auto dispense whenever they like.*dispenses the exact amount. I set it to a half cup amd the emptied the bowl into a measure cup and it was exact.*battery backup. Supports d batteries, in case of power outage.* app is really easy to navigate.* looks really clean and matches my other cat products. I actually turned away other higher reviewed feeders because this one matched better and im glad I did.* sturdy enough that I don’t think the cats will tip it over.* cheaper than alternatives* comes apart into different sections to clean.

We use this for our two smaller dogs. We can fill it up and it will last for several days, dispensing 3 feedings a day. The app is not difficult, and allows us to adjust for the number of feedings, the time of feedings, and the amount that is fed. It took a few times to dial all of this in to meet our dogs needs, but you can always release an on-demand feeding from the app at anytime you need a little extra. It makes everything so much easier, and the app communicates with you if there’s ever an issue or when the food is running low. You need a plug as it is not cordless, and for larger animals you may need to go up a size, but for our two 12-15lb dogs, this does the trick. Thrilled with our purchase.
