This smells like summer. It has a tanning oil or lotion smell to it. Not coconut but more of a cocoa and shea butter smell. It’s very light weight. I had to do multiple passes on my dogs paws to feel they were covered and moisturized. I wish it had a little more coverage and was more absorbent. Overall it’s pretty good for what it is and keeping your pets paws healthy. Neither of my pups tried licking it off.

I ordered this to help with my dog’s rough and cracked front paws as they are very dry and have light separation. This seems to have helped with moisturizing and protecting.It has an excellent smell and doesn’t leave my dog wanting to lick his paws after application.The only two downsides that I have found are the application process themselves because it’s rather difficult to get out of the tin, So I advise using a q-tip to gently scrape off some and apply to your dog’s paw. It’s a little bit hard and as such makes it rather difficult to get out of the container. The second downside is the size of the small tin itself. If you use this daily or even multiple times a day as instructed, you’re definitely going to burn through one tin rather quickly.Otherwise this is a great product, and seems to nourish and protect my dog’s paws quite well, it would be great to slip into a dog’s travel bag due to its small size and would make a cute little stocking stuffer for your pampered pooch.
