They get the job done, but don’t expect anything fancy. The boots are lightweight and easy to put on with the included bandage wrap, which helps keep them in place. Great for quick outdoor trips or protecting paws after an injury. They’re not super durable, so don’t count on reusing them much, but for disposable use, they’re decent. Solid option if you need something simple and convenient.

I never knew there was a disposable option for dog booties, but it is actually a pretty great idea. These are super basic / simple in their design. They are thin and lightweight, easy to put on (once you get each boot open – now that’s another story!) and they come with a roll of tape to secure them. Waterproof, yet much more flexible and comfortable than traditional dog boots, which always seem so awkward for dogs to walk in. For that reason, I honestly don’t bother with regular booties too often – but there are some days where I definitely want to stop my dogs from tracking in wet or muddy footprints. (And just having rugs at the doorway doesn’t cut it). Enter the disposable booties! Convenient, fast, disposable. If one accidentally comes off or gets lost outside, no biggie! (Although I haven’t had this happen yet). I also do not have to think about cleaning them after or between uses. The only downside for me is that, depending on how frequently your dog wears boots, you might run through a package pretty quicky. (20 boots per bag is only five separate uses, since you will use four boots at a time). So the $10 or so dollars that you will spend per bag can quickly add up to cost much more than just buying a single set of re-usable boots that you can use over and over again. That said, as with so many other things in life, we often pay a higher price for convenience. And these are exactly that, convenient! Just be sure that you measure your dog’s paws before ordering, so that you definitely get the right size. I guessed (which I don’t recommend), and mine are ALMOST too small, but thankfully they do still work. I just open up the top a tiny bit wider by cutting a small slit in the side of each. Then the tape gets wrapped around the boot and keeps it secured, even though I had to cut it a bit at the top in order to fit it over my dog’s paws. Problem solved. 😉
