The + and – buttons work great, you can make it as powerful or weak as you want! It’s super quiet which is what I was looking for! I cannot seem to make the power button work but frankly it’s an air pump for the aquarium, never had that ability before and it’s supposed to be on all the time so I cannot fault it!The bubbles breaking the water at the top are louder than the hum of the pump. I’m very happy with that!

This thing is so quiet! I have a filter in a 5 gallon and a 2.5 gallon both powered by this pump. If you only have one air hose on it, the pump is loud. The power button doesn’t work, but the power settings do. It doesn’t really bother me, I just unplug the pump if I need to turn my filters off. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a minimal noise air pump that works!

I have been running the blue pump since February 2022. Whisper quiet and enough power on the lowest level to run 4 lift tubes and a water feature in a 55 gallon tank. I have had aquariums for the past 50 years and this is the best pump I have every found. I have tried all the major brands over those years including the Silent Giants which did not even come close to being this quiet.
