I got these for my older dog who had surgery on her ear to try and deter her from scratching at the stitches. She also has bad allergies and sometimes chews on her paws. Plus, she is 12 and occasionally slips on the hardwood or linoleum floors. These gripper socks have helped with all 3 of her issues! They fit perfectly and are adjustable at the ankle, so they’re never too tight or too loose. They’ve really been the perfect answer to help her not herself scratching, not lick her paws raw, and keep her from sliding or falling on the floor. Super glad we got them!

I have a 12 yo pomeranian who has mobility issues and his feet often slide on the slick flooring in the kitchen. We tried carpet runners, which helped, but we tripped over them a lot and they were only useful for limited areas. I’d seen different versions of these but worried they wouldn’t stay on. I saw the pictures in this listing and there was one with a pomeranian that showed the socks extending pretty far up their legs. I thought maybe a long sock and the 2 straps would hold them on. Well so far so good, for the most part. They do help keep him from sliding as much on the floor, so that is good. I do have to adjust them on him every few hours because they will twist or slide down on him. It may just be that the size is wrong for his feet. Still it is an improvement for my little guy.
